LifeView Group is a nonprofit organization with a mission of “helping people throughout life’s journey.” We serve others through some of their most vulnerable moments, with more than 2,000 team members impacting lives in multiple states and the District of Columbia. As a parent company, LifeView Group encompasses three affiliates – Lakeview Center’s behavioral health care, FamiliesFirst Network’s child welfare support and Global Connections to Employment’s career services for people with disabilities.
Substance misuse and mental health issues can potentially overlap into child abuse, abandonment and neglect. That’s where our child welfare teams at FamiliesFirst Network can step in to help ensure the safety of children while our Lakeview Center behavioral health care teams work with parents to receive recovery services. FamiliesFirst Network also serves foster children with special needs, which are addressed by our specialized behavioral health care teams. Lakeview Center’s behavioral health services coupled with FamiliesFirst Network’s child welfare support are able to lean on each other as we develop innovative solutions in serving Gulf Coast families. We also serve persons with disabilities who are seeking meaningful work and independence. For those who need it, Global Connections to Employment provides job opportunities across a diverse pool of business lines, from facilities maintenance to food services and commercial businesses to health care environments.
Because of LifeView Group, people with mental illnesses and substance use disorders can get the treatments they need, people with disabilities can find employment, and children who have experienced abuse or neglect can know safety and stability.
Lakeview Center serves adults and children with mental illnesses, drug and alcohol dependencies and intellectual disabilities. With multiple programs across Northwest Florida, our services range from inpatient and residential treatment to outpatient counseling, psychiatry, trauma care, treatments for substance misuse and 24/7 support for those with serious mental illnesses.
FamiliesFirst Network provides foster care, adoption and child welfare services in Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa and Walton counties. Our specialized team is passionate about helping abused and neglected children and their families. We collaborate with partners throughout the state, in Northwest Florida’s four-county area and within our faith-based communities to ensure the safety and well-being of children.
Global Connections to Employment (GCE) is a nationwide team providing jobs and training for people with significant disabilities, including military veterans. We empower our team members with independence and self-sufficiency and help match them to fulfilling careers, from facilities maintenance to food services and other business lines in between. Working with contractors at military bases and commercial businesses, GCE is one of the country’s largest employers of people with disabilities under the AbilityOne program.
We actively seek a diverse workforce, so our team can mirror the communities we serve, and we support an inclusive work environment where everyone has a voice and feels valued. Our Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging Team is committed to educating our team members through activities throughout the year. We welcome people of all backgrounds – including veterans and people with disabilities – to work on the Gulf Coast and at our sites throughout the country.
We offer telework, remote, flexible and hybrid accommodations where possible. Never losing sight of the personal, one-to-one interactions needed to help our clients, we also want to be available to them via virtual platforms. Our goal is to erase barriers for those we serve and foster an inspirational culture of helping others where they need us, when they need us.
Our Employee Resource Groups help us form a strong, diverse team that encourages mutual respect and collaboration across our organization, while working together to fulfill our mission. We offer a variety of Employee Resource Groups, including Generations at Work, Individuals with Great Abilities, Veterans Employee Resource Group, Remote Team Member Networking Group, our Book and Film Club, CAREgiver support group and Multicultural Employee Resource Group.
We have been awarded the Military Friendly Employer designation, signifying our commitment to the military and veteran community from hiring to career advancement and customer service.
We understand that veterans may face significant challenges as they transition back to civilian life or seek to balance their careers with continued service in the National Guard or Reserves. We are here to make this transition for veterans smoother. Veterans bring enormous value to the environments in which they perform, so we have an enhanced focus on the career development of transitioned veterans and those in the process of transitioning back into civilian life.
We offer a robust and comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental and vision plans, as well as life insurance, disability insurance, paid-time off and a 403(b) retirement savings plan for eligible employees. Our employee assistance program has helped team members through countless crises situations over the years including anything from financial crises to natural disasters.
Our commitment to you doesn’t stop when you are hired. We continue to invest in your career growth through on-the-job-training, internal and external learning and opportunities for career advancement. Our mission of “helping people throughout life’s journey” extends to you and your family throughout your work and personal journey.
